'Breaking Bad' season 4, episode 3 recap, 'Open House': Marie steals again
Last time on “Breaking Bad, ” Mike laid down a beating on Walt for buying a gun as well as hinting at plans to arrange their boss’ death. Jesse surrounded himself with partygoers at an ongoing rave at his pad, for a chance to simulate the feeling of being high and stave off the guilt of murder .
CAR WASHES AND GO-KARTS
This week, Walt -- looking a little worse for the wear with a fresh black eye -- spots a newly installed surveillance camera in the crystal meth superlab and defiantly flips it the bird.
Since the bar fight, he’s been snubbing Skyler, who is pressing him about buying the car wash. Her finger bears down on the doorbell at his condo, and she calls his cell until he opens up, his wounded face half-hidden by the door. At first he says he “bumped it” until she eggs him on to admit it’s from an argument with a co-worker over a particular business strategy. He looks at the beating as a good thing because it cleared the air, and the fact that he refrained from fighting back was a show of respect. Skyler’s concerned for their family’s safety and makes him promise that he will call the police if he were to encounter serious danger. Walt asks for no sympathy, nor another’s stake in his private doings.
At the superlab, Walt and Jesse wrap up another day of cooking meth. Without knowing what caused the black eye, Jesse offers some unsolicited advice: You do get used to being roughed up a lot. Jesse invites Walt to go-karting near the coliseum, but he takes a rain check.
Instead, he meets with Skyler and Saul at his condo, as Saul’s bodyguard Huell keeps watch outside. Saul is all about the nail salon as their potential “front” through which to funnel money. Skyler is fixed on the one car wash, even though its Romanian proprietor Bogdan wrestled her “into submission with his eyebrows,” as Saul kindly puts it. She wants to motivate Bodgan in a nonviolent way to change his attitude, and she thinks an audit would draw unwanted tax attention. Walt learns that Bogdan in criticized him for not being man enough to pay a visit himself.
In Jesse’s spare time, he blows off steam at the go-kart track. He comes home to find a guy walking out with his toaster oven. The Party That Won’t Stop has not stopped. In fact, it now resembles a drug den/impromptu fight club. The walls are sullied with graffiti, everybody’s crashing and burning, and Jesse, aloofly smoking a cigarette, is a ghost in his own home. (Note: This disturbing sequence is aptly set to Fever Ray’s “If I Had a Heart.

Arrange furniture so there is freedom of movement; have clear paths around your work space. Your chair should be able to move freely around your desk area. Put file cabinets under tables; this frees up floor space while creating a larger work surface.

Groups can arrange tours by request, as long as they don't expect too much in the way of air conditioning, elevators or other modern creature comforts. Some of the ship's fans dream of turning her into an active cultural and educational treasure,
In this same vein, it's also important that a high-end property be 'staged' properly – to arrange furniture and decor to reflect ALL of the property's unique features in the best light possible! Lastly, sellers in an upscale market need to be flexible.
We have had parties for up to 50, so this room should be flexible enough to arrange for this purpose as well. Currently, our furniture includes a sofa and love seat, a coffee table, some end tables, a stereo cabinet and an upright piano (which is ugly
How To Arrange Furniture In Rental Home? Good Questions ...
You can hang almost any material from your curtain rods; sheets, cheap yardage, thrift store finds. Use clip-on curtains rings--they are fast and easy. Whatever you hang up can be reused when you move.
As far as setting up the room, it looks pretty good. I would move the shelf unit that is next to the fireplace over to where the desk is now. Maybe put a bench with storage drawers under the window in the dining area. You could store your desk items in there, and use the dining table for a work surface. Also, if you can stretch your budget for a rug under the dining table i think it would really improve the look of the place.
I would move the soft seating around the fireplace, with sofa facing it and the chair to side of the FP nearest the window, and an area rug to anchor the group. Purchase a 24x48 console table to place behind the sofa with your 2 chairs and ditch the pub table. Move the desk into the window for a space you want to be in.
Check if you can temporarily remove, or add chain and reposition with a screw hook in the ceiling, the current dining fixture.
Console tables are really amazing, versatile pieces of furniture. If you were to face the couch towards the fireplace, the console table behind it could work as a desk space, too.
I would suggest moving the media shelving that's next to the fireplace ... at least so that the fireplace is more center of attention.
The great thing about curtains is that they pack easily for the return trip!
Ditto to everyone for pulling the furniture away from the walls and moving the bookcase by the fireplace to a different location. Also, I think the room needs a much larger dining table than that pub table to balance things out. I agree that a few years in a place is enough time to at least get something at a local donation store, or off of a craigslist or freecycle local website.
If you're looking for deals on second hand stuff, look at the entrance of your Grocery store. Usually there are lots of ads where people are trying to get rid of nice stuff for decent prices. (couches, table, bikes...) Also look in the newspaper. There are lots of good deals in there. If German is a problem, leo.de is my favorite translator site. Dänishches Bettenlager is also I really nice store with decent prices. I recently got curtains there for 15 euros. Good luck! I hope you enjoy your time in Germany! The apartment looks really nice, I love those ceilings!
