CARLSBAD: Someone reported a loud party at the Quality Inn in Carlsbad around 2 a.m. July 4. When police arrived, they found two people listening to very quiet music. According to the report, one was sleeping. The other was eating nachos.

CARLSBAD: A man was detained around 9 p.m. July 4 after head butting his fiancee, who went to Tri-City Medical Center with head injuries. CARLSBAD: Several private airplane operators reported that their planes had been lit up by a green laser while flying around 9 p.m. July 4. The laser likely came from Tamarack Avenue.

DEL MAR: A 22-year-old man and a 27-year-old man suffered minor injuries after a battery at 2200 Jimmy Durante Blvd., 9:15 p.m. July 3.

DEL MAR: A 39-year-old man was arrested for battery on a 46-year-old man, 9 p.m. July 4 on Sandy Lane.

ENCINITAS: A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving without a license, 2:15 a.m. June 25 on Birmingham Drive.

ENCINITAS: Leucadia Floral and Plant was vandalized $500 in damage between 6 p.m. July 1 and 8 a.m. July 2.

ENCINITAS: 454 Tattoo on North Coast Highway 101 was vandalized between 8:20 p.m. July 1 and 11 a.m. July 2.

ENCINITAS: A thief stole $20,000 in silver and $5,000 of miscellaneous items from a home on Hygeia Avenue between noon June 19 and 10 p.m. July 1.

ENCINITAS: A 56-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse around 3 a.m. July 4 on West G Street.

ENCINITAS: A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and willful cruelty to a child, with no great bodily injury, 10:53 p.m. July 4 on South Coast Highway 101.

ENCINITAS: A thief stole $840 in video games from a home on Lundquist Drive between 10 a.m. June 30 and 1 p.m. July 3.

ENCINITAS: A 56-year-old woman was arrested for stealing $350 in miscellaneous clothing items from the TJ Maxx on Encinitas Boulevard, 2:30 p.m. May 23.

ESCONDIDO: A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary at 8:49 a.m. June 28 in the 1900 block of Vermel Avenue.

ESCONDIDO: A hit-and-run was reported at 11:36 p.m. June 20 in the 100 block of Via Rancho Parkway.

ESCONDIDO: A burglary was reported at 5:32 a.m. June 30 at Kit Carson Park.

ESCONDIDO: A man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon at 5:21 p.m. June 30 at Sandalwood Place and Waneck Road.

ESCONDIDO: A man was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run at 5:51 p.m. June 30 in the 1000 block of Howard Avenue.
