@jwemt81 True that most Golden Retrievers are not used as gun dogs. An interesting development is that due to their high intelligence and their ease of training they have morphed into an excellent working breed and are used as guide dogs for blind people, as rescue dogs and as drug sniffers for the police and military. My own GR is simply by best friend and companion and that’s enough for me.

Actually what she is talking about is a force dryer which is a very high velocity dryer that blows all the loose hair out from the undercoat. As a professional dog groomer this works about 40 times better than any brush. She is using a slicker brush to get out the mats that is not what a Furminator brush is for infact if you use a furminator brush to get out mats you could give your dog brush burn.
